Mr. Smith Ray died at his home southwest of town Tuesday morning. Mr. Ray was injured in an auto accident Thanksgiving Day at which time his aged wife died. He had been confined to his bed since. Mr. Ray was a pioneer of this part of the county and has a host of friends who are grieved to learn of his death.

This community was saddened to hear of the death of Mrs. Smith Ray and wish to extend our heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved ones. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon from the home and burial was in the Marshall cemetery.
