Services for Joyce Ann Beagley (Roberts), 78, Alva resident, will be held in the Bible Baptist Church of Alva. Committal prayers and internment in Marshall Lion’s Cemetery, Marshall, Oklahoma, under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Joyce was born on May 30, 1941 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Roy Dean and Mary Katherine (Lutes) Roberts, and passed away on October 6, 2019 in Alva. She was raised in Marshall, moved to Alva in 1958 and graduated from Alva High School with the class of 1959. Joyce married Bobby Lee Beagley in Alva on May 15, 1959 in the Bible Baptist Church of Alva.

Joyce worked at Lee's Grocery and Market, waitress for Clara Tippican (Truck Stop), sales clerk at C.R. Anthony's,and attended beauty school and worked as a beautician for many years. Joyce helped operate Beagley Custom Harvest until 2003, and also worked for Elsie Rodger's CPA. She was affiliated with the Bible Baptist Church of Alva.

Survivors include her husband, Bob of Alva; son, Jere Beagley of Dallas; granddaughter, Makinzie Beagley of Austin; other relatives, including a brother-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, and many friends.

Joyce was preceded in passing by her parents, and sister, Kathy Shore.
