Marshall – Leo H. Anderson, 81, died Saturday at an Enid hospital. The funeral will be at 10:30 AM Tuesday at the First Christian Church in Marshall with Dr. Wilfred Walker officiating. Burial will will be at the North I00F Cemetery in Marshall directed by Abernathy Funeral Home, Crescent.

He was born March 3, 1905, in Arapaho to Albert Preston and Myrtle Alice Berry Anderson. On May 12, 1929, he and Hazel Rouse were married in Douglas. She died in 1981. A longtime resident of Marshall, he was an oilfield pumper, a member of the Gospel Light House Church, a 32nd-degree Mason in the Marshall Masonic Lodge and had been a member of I00F.

Survivors include two sons, Jack Anderson, Long Beach, California, and Dan Myers, Enid; and a granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel, a sister and a grandson.

Marshall – Hazel M. Anderson, 72, died Sunday in an Enid hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM Wednesday in the First Christian Church at Marshall with the Rev. Robert Weber officiating. Burial will follow in the North I00F Cemetery there under direction of Abernathy Funeral Home of Crescent.

The casket will be open at the funeral home until 11:30 AM Wednesday and then at the church from noon until 1:30 PM, remaining closed after the service.

Mrs. Anderson was born October 5, 1909, southwest of Marshall. She was a homemaker and a former member of the Christian Church in Marshall. She was presently a member of Gospel Lighthouse at Marshall.

On May 12, 1929, she and Leo Anderson were married at Douglas.

Survivors include her husband, Leo; two sons, Jack M., Long Beach, California, and Danny Myers, Enid; three brothers, Lee Rouse, Crescent, Landis Rouse, Oklahoma City, and Harold Rouse, Lubbock, Texas; one sister, Pearl Sample, Marshall.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one grandson.

Memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
