March 18, 1962 - December 31, 2024

The funeral for Carol June Hicks, 62 year-old Enid resident is 11:00AM Monday, January 6, 2025 in the Henninger-Hinson Chapel. Rev. Barbara Monroe will officiate. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery.

Carol was born March 18, 1962 in Myrtle Springs, Texas to J.C. and Marie (Hudson) Crow and died Tuesday December 31, 2024 at her home. She attended Pond-Creek Hunter schools where she played basketball and was a cheerleader.

On August 26, 1978 she married the love of her life Jimmy Hicks and the couple made their home in Enid. Carol was a caretaker her entire working life and was dedicated to those for whom she cared. The family enjoyed attending O.U. football Games. They also loved going to the lake, boating and fishing. Carol was very involved with her children's sporting events.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jimmy of the home, son Allen Hicks and wife Beki of Enid and daughter Brandi Hicks also of Enid, her mother Marie Crow, grandchildren; Rylie, Trey, and Allie Hicks and Zachary and Zoey Beckwith and Wyatt and Chloe Palmer. Great-grandchildren Wynona and Marcie Vasquez as well as several brothers and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her father, her daughter Vanessa Lane and two sisters, Angie Crow and Laveta Estrada.
