Jim was born December 21, 1934, in Lugert, Oklahoma to Ralph and Ethel Goldtrap and passed away, Friday, October 1, 2010, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in Enid, OK.

He graduated from Garber High School and attended OSU in Stillwater, OK.

Jim married Sharian Reimers on December 2, 1967 in Enid, Oklahoma.

He served in the United States Air Force from 1953 and with an Honorable Discharge in 1961 while stationed at Perrin AFB, Texas.

He was a businessman in the Enid community for many years, employed at Owens Supply for 29 years. Employed at Marlatts Auto Supply 1986 to 1993. Store Manager of O'Reilly's Auto Parts from 1993 til retirement.

He grew up on a farm in the Garber area.

Jim really enjoyed sports such as OU football, boxing, and basketball. Hobbies were fixing antique clocks, gardening, and donations of toys to Tinker AFB Chapel for children.

Jim is survived by his wife, Sharian of the home, one daughter, Shariall Rayna Cooper member of Tinker AFB Chapel from Enid, OK. Two brother-in-laws, Pastor Marion Reimers and his wife Helen Reimers, from Prairie View Baptist Church. Dewade Reimers and wife from Guthrie, OK. Three nephews and 1 niece; Pastor Brad Reimers and family from Crosswinds Church, Hobbs, New Mexico. Pastor Kirk Reimers and family. Erick Reimers and family. Deidra Reimers and family. Uncle Delbert Harrison from Asher, OK. Retired Dr. Barton Carl and wife of Edmond, OK. Martin Carl and wife of Enid, OK; cousin Ms. Miller of Enid, OK.

A graveside service for Jim D. Goldtrap, 75, will be held at 2 p.m.; Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at Douglas Union Cemetery with Pastor Marion Reimers, will officiate. Arrangements are by Dugger Funeral Home, Garber, OK.
