A graveside service for Ethel E. Goldtrap, 97, of Enid, will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in Douglas Cemetery. The Rev. Alan Seibel will officiate. Arrange-ments are by Hen-ninger-Allen Funeral Home.

She was born in Los Animos, Colo., to John Wesley and Nancy Catherine Moore Carl and died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2005, at Enid Senior Care.

She moved to Douglas with her parents in 1911. She married Ralph Goldtrap Nov. 21, 1931. They farmed in the Hunter area, moving to Enid in 1972. He preceded her in death.

She was a member of Davis Park Christian Church.

Surviving are one son, Jim Goldtrap of Enid.

Besides her husband, Ralph, she was preceded in death by two brothers and one grandson.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Davis Park Christian Church.

November 18, 1907 - July 3, 1987

Ralph Goldtrap, 79, 706 E. Chestnut, died Friday evening in a local hospital after a period of ill health. His funeral will be at 2 PM Sunday in the Chapel of the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home with Paul J. Enabnit, pastor of Davis Park Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Douglas Cemetery.

Goldtrap was born November 18, 1907, in Douglas to John and Blanche Goldtrap. He attended Douglas schools and graduated from Douglas high school in 1928. Goldtrap worked in the Douglas area with dairy cattle.

He and Ethel Carl were married at Douglas in 1931. They lived in Lugart for three years before returning to Douglas to farm. They later lived on a farm in the Hunter area before moving to Enid in 1971.

Goldtrap was a member of the Douglas Christian Union Church.

He is survived by his wife of the home; a son, Jim of Breckinridge; a brother, William of Hobart, and a grandson. Two brothers died earlier.

Memorials may be made to the Davis Park Christian Church or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Cancer Division, with the funeral home serving as custodian of contributions.
