Timothy "Tim" Swart, Sr.
July 13, 1945 - December 13, 2024


The services celebrating and honoring the life of Timothy Carl "Tim" Swart, 79, of Enid, will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday December 20, 2024, in the Del Norte Cemetery with Pastor Gary Miller officiating. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home.

Tim was born July 13, 1945, to Carl Swart and Ester Messenger Swart at Enid General Hospital and passed from this life December 13, 2024, in Drummond, Oklahoma.

He was raised and educated on the family farm and attended Drummond public schools graduating from Drummond high school with the class of 1963. He continued wheat farming, hauling hay and ranching throughout his life. He married Linda Williams, from this marriage came 4 children, to which they raised on the family farm. He was an avid hunter and fisher and enjoyed gardening and cars in his younger years. He was a former member of the Waukomis Baptist Church.

He is survived by his son Tim Swart II and his wife Lindsey, daughters, Misty Arnett and husband Shaun, and Patricia Nunley; thirteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; his significant other, Tina Hopkins, of the home; four stepdaughters; two sisters Sylvia Hayes and Sondra Keener; and one brother Phil Swart.

He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Ester Swart, brother Ray Swart and Jimmy Swart and one daughter Catrena Coomes.
