Gregory Allen Winkeljohn passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019.

Greg was born in Cook County, Illinois, to Robert F. and Judith Boise Winkeljohn on May 31, 1962. He graduated from Oak Park High School and the University of Missouri-Kansas City with Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He was a member of The Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity.

Greg worked in the computer industry in Kansas City where he met Renée Winter. In 1989 they were married in Dodge City, Kansas, and continued to live there. In 1994, the family moved to Enid, Oklahoma. He was a broker for Lippard Reality. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. He volunteered for Our Daily Bread every Friday for 10 years while living in Enid. It was very important to him, and he looked forward to it every week. He was also involved in YMCA sports and volunteered for the EJRT Football program where he coached all his kids in football and basketball. He was an avid chef and loved to cook and grill for everyone whenever he could.

Greg is survived by his wife of 29 years and seven children: Lindsey Jones (Austin), Raymond (Emily), Kayti, Amanda, Weston, Erik and John Paul Winkeljohn; his grandchildren, Aurora and Dallas; his brother, Christopher; and his parents.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Smith.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., with Reverends Kelly Edwards and Mark Mason concelebrating. Recitation of the Rosary will be at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Monday, February 4, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. with Deacon Tony Crispo presiding. Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family cordially requests remembrances be made to Our Daily Bread or to Renée Winkeljohn for the college education fund of Erik and John Paul, through the funeral home.

Condolences may be made to the family at www.andersonburris.com.
