Mass of Christian Burial for Charlie Williams, 82, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2017, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with Rev Joseph Irwin as celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7 Sunday evening, May 21, 2017, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Charlie was born August 28, 1934, in Enid, to Ray E. and Edna Pauline (Ruth) Williams, and passed away on Tuesday evening, May 16, 2017, at his home in Enid. Charlie grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School. On October 22, 1955, he married Cynthia Ojanna Sidwell in Pond Creek, and they made their home in Enid. He was a co-owner and realtor at Williams Real Estate and later was a Deputy at Garfield County Sheriff Department for over 50 years. Charlie was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. He loved to show Shetland ponies and enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Cynthia; 5 children, Justin Williams (Ramona) of Fort Myers, Florida, Joanna Hau (Tom) of Hennessey, Austin Williams (Deb) of Wichita, Kansas, Aaron Williams (Connie) of Okeene, and Tracie Stump (Bob) of Crook, Colorado; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister Marilyn Odgen of Enid.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Our Daily Bread or Garfield County Sheriff Department.
