Recent Deaths
NOLAN - Funeral services for J.P. Nolan, 75, were held Monday morning at St. Francis Xavier Church, Dean H. Schaubroeck said the mass, and burial was made in Calvary cemetery.
Mr. Nolan died Friday night of a cerebral hemorrhage at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L.G. Sawyer, 906 West Broadway. He had been in ill health several months. He formerly was ticket agent for the Frisco railroad in Enid in 1917, and later served as station agent at Drummond. He retired in 1926 and moved to Enid.
Surviving him are his widow and one daughter, Mrs. Sawyer, two brothers, M.U. Nolan, Wentworth, Mo.; and C.G. Nolan, Winnipeg, Canada. The Henninger Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
