ENID, Okla. — CRESCENT — Mass of Christian burial for Emma Agnes Navratil, 96, will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2014, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Hennessey, officiated by the Rev. Ed Menasco.

Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.

Emma was born Jan. 15, 1918, in Bison, Okla., to Albert and Mary Pipla and died Monday, April 7, 2014, at Sequoyah Manor in Sallisaw, Okla.

She married Joe Navratil on Aug. 30, 1938.

Emma was a member of St. Camillus Catholic Church in Marshall, the St. Camillus Altar Society and cooked for the Marshall Lions Club for a number of years.

She is survived by one daughter, Marcella Mott and husband Floyd of Colcord; two sons, Marvin Navratil and wife Linda of McAlester and Larry Navratil of Crescent; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; one grandson, Mark Navratil; her parents; one brother; and two sisters.
