Mass of Christian Burial for Marie A. Mogab, age 96, 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, the Rev. Mark Mason and James Mickus officiating.

Burial follows in Calvary Cemetery, under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

The Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary is 7:00 p.m. today, October 12, 2018, at the funeral home.

Miss Mogab passed away October 10, 2018, at her home. She was born on February 6, 1922, in Enid, to Haikal and Zahia Mogab.

She graduated from St. Joseph Academy in 1940, as Valedictorian of her class. She worked at Vance Air Force Base and left there as civilian payroll chief upon its temporary deactivation in 1947. She then went to work at General Mills Inc. as a traffic clerk and retired from there in 1984, as manager of their Enid elevator facility.

In 1980, for the first time in its 66 year history, Enid Board of Trade had two women on its board of directors, one of whom was Miss Mogab. She served in that capacity until her retirement from General Mills Inc. in 1984.

She was a lifetime member of St. Francis Xavier Church, Catholic Daughters of America, the St. Francis Altar Society, the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, and the St. Francis Church Choir for over 65 years. She was also in charge of the St. Francis Prayer Line.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews; caregivers, Tam Messenger, Hang Haden, Eva Malinao, Rosalina Dimarucut, and Arrianna Shannon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and four sisters.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to St. Francis Xavier Building Fund.
