Ponca City – Elizabeth P. Messall, 73, died Thursday in a Ponca City hospital. A Wake service will be today at 7:30 PM in the Trout Funeral Home at Ponca City. Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ponca City with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Enid.

Mrs. Messall was born February 25, 1904, at Kremlin, and attended schools there. She married Otto Messhall February 16, 1925, at Duncan. He died September 18, 1962, at Blackwell.

Mrs. Messall received her nursing training at St. Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City, and worked at the Blackwell General Hospital for several years.

Survivors include one son, Jack, Stillwell, Kansas; two daughters, Mrs. J. L. Shiltz, Ponca City, and Mrs. Robert L. Green, McPherson, Kansas; one sister, Sister Patricia Coakley, Colorado Springs, Colorado; 15 grandchildren; and eight great – grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund with the funeral home acting as custodian.
