The funeral for Christine L. Martinez, 75, of Enid, will be 3 p.m. today at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Ernest Flusche will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

She was born Jan. 3, 1932, in Austin, Texas, to Marcileno and Patsy Sanchez Salzar and died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007, at her home.

She married Raymond Martinez Dec. 17, 1949, in Ruby, Texas.

They moved to Enid in 1952, where she has lived since. She worked for David Nicholas at American Standard Life Insurance Building in Enid as an elevator opertor. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

Surviving are her husband, Raymond, of the home; three sons, Reinaldo Martinez, Raymond Martinez Jr. and Joe Martinez, all of Enid; three daughters, Delores Moore of Enid, Evelyn Marquis of Midwest City and Teresa Martinez of Enid; three sisters, Beatrice, Pevlo and Linda, all of Austin, Texas; two brothers, Jesse and Rudy, both of Austin; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, four brothers, and two grandchildren.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, heart division.
