Mass of Christian burial for Glen “Bob” Kratzer, 74, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 8, 2013, at St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church, with Rev. Joseph Irwin as celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
Bob was born Dec. 27, 1938, in Lacy, Okla., to Perry and Inez Kratzer and died Thursday, April 4, 2013, in Enid. He grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School.
ob enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving on the USS Yorktown. Following his discharge, he returned to Enid.
On July 20, 1963, he married Floydean Dysart at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Bob was the superintendent for Fuquay Elevator until his retirement. He attended St. Gregory Catholic Church and was a member of the American Legion. Bob enjoyed antique cars and his dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Stan Smith, Buzz, Raymond and Harold Kratzer; and two sisters, Vivian Cox and Doreen McDonald.
He is survived by his wife, Floydean of the home; daughter, Katherine Kratzer of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Velma Wood of Enid, and Pauline Mallory of California.
