July 26, 1932 - September 24, 2018

Mass of Christian Burial for Geraldine Ann "Jerry" (Hathoot) Johnson is 10:00 a.m. today, September 27, 2018, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with the Reverend Mark Mason officiating.

Burial follows in Calvary Cemetery.

Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary is 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2018, Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home Chapel.

Jerry was born July 26, 1932, in Enid, to Abraham and Mary (Farris) Hathoot, and passed away Monday, September 24, 2018.

February 3, 1952, she married William E. Johnson at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She was a long-time member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

Jerry attended Sacred Heart Academy in Wichita, Kansas, and graduated from Enid High School in 1950. She attended the University of Omaha, NE, and Oklahoma A&M in Stillwater.

She worked for Atkinson Jewelry Store for seven years and later worked for the Garfield County Assessor's office for 18 years, retiring in 1996.

Jerry is survived by her son, William Johnson and his wife, Susie of Enid; two sisters, Mary Jo Sartin of Lawton, and Linda McKenney of Fort Worth, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother.

Memorials may be made to OMRF Diabetes Division, with the funeral home as custodian of the fund.
