Killed in an airplane crash Friday morning was Lieut. Lawrence Johndrow, 21 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. N. W. Johndrow, 1220 West Pine.

Lieutenant Johndrow was flying a plane from the basic training field at Roswell, N. M. when the accident occured but the wreck was not found by searching parties until Saturday afternoon. His parents left early yesterday for Roswell.

He received his wings at Kelly Field, Texas, on February 7, 1941, and graduated from Enid High School in 1937. (News Eagle photo)
