Mrs. Walter (Hermina E.) Hudnall, 92, 819 W. Randolph, died early Sunday following a long illness. A wake service will be at 7:30 PM today in Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service at 10 AM Tuesday in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The Rev. Lowell Stieferman will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Hudnall was born June 7, 1888, in Highland, Illinois, to Joseph and Barbara Nagel. She attended school in Highland, and in 1906 the family moved to Oklahoma. On January 13, 1913, she married Walter M. Hudnall in Brighton, Colorado. The couple were engaged in farming in the Marshall and Red Rock areas prior to retiring and moving to Enid in 1960. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary January 13, 1978.

Mrs. Hudnall was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church and the Altar Society.

Survivors include her husband, Walter M.; Three daughters, Mrs. Jake (Marcella) Rogers, Enid, Mrs. Herbert (Mary Ann) Lowry, Ponca City, and Mrs. Edwin (Madonna) Sullins, Austin, Texas; two sons, Vernon, Enid, and Walter Jr., Torrence, California; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Bolton, Enid; five brothers, Albert Nagel, Oklahoma City, Ray Nagel, Perry, Melvin Nagel, Clarence Nagel and Leon Nagel, all of Enid; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great – grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, five brothers and one daughter.

Memorials may be made to St. Francis Xavier Church, The Leven Center, with the church or funeral home serving as custodian.
