Submitted by: Jo Aguirre

ENID — Mass of Christian Burial for Vickie Lynn Bainter will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with Father Mark Mason presiding. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Enid. A celebration of life visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel.

Vickie was born October 27, 1949, to Ted and Hazel (Fry) Hudnall, and she departed this life Friday, June 15, 2012, at her home, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Vickie was the youngest of three children and married Lanny M. Bainter August 26, 1969. They made their home west of Enid and had two amazing children, Melisa D. Gungoll of Oklahoma City and Doug T. Bainter of Enid. Vickie also was blessed with four grandchildren: Chrissa and Sebastian Gungoll and Alisha Barber and Kashlyn Bainter. Vickie loved spending time with her family and friends. She never met a stranger and spoke her mind. She loved to travel, have large gatherings at her home and sell real estate. She took great satisfaction in finding that special home for her clients.

Vickie is survived by her husband, Lanny Bainter; daughter Melisa Gungoll, her husband Todd and their children, Chrissa and Sebastian; and son Doug Bainter, his wife Kayla and their children, Alisha and Kashlyn. She also is survived by her sisters and their families, Beverly Foster and her husband Jim of Tulsa and Carolyn Ellis and her husband Hank of Enid. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Hazel Hudnall, and her nephews, Bobby Gau, Chris Bainter and Eric Bainter.
