Auto crash claims one life, injures seven

Peter Arens, 73, 1701 W. Oklahoma, died in an Enid hospital shortly after the car which he was driving figured in an accident 4 miles south of Enid on the US Highway 81, just before noon Saturday.

Three of the other seven persons injured in the two car crash remained in a serious condition although slightly improved. They were Frank Williams, 315 S. Buchanan, abstractor, and Howard Wolff, 59, of Wichita, Kansas, both passengers in the Arens' car. The third is Al Holland, 324 N. Fifth, driver of the other car.

The others, injured less seriously, include Mrs. Holland, Ruth Cole and her mother, Mrs. Mae Abbott, 409 N. Ninth, and Wayne Stewart, 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Stewart, 502 N. Eighth.
