March 23, 1925 - April 17, 2009

Recitation of the Rosary for Marie Ellen Roberts, 84 year-old Enid resident will be at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Tony Crispo officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Father Kevin Ratterman celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Marie was born on March 23, 1925 in Bowie, Texas the daughter of Harry F. Fleshman and Alta E. (Clester) Fleshman and died April 17, 2009 at the Commons.

On December 15, 1945 she married James "Jim" Roberts, Sr. Marie was a devoted mother, grandmother, and homemaker all of her life.

She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She was also a member of Good Sam Camping Club and Coffee Mates Camping Club.

She is survived by her children; Susan Lobsinger and her husband Bob of Newkirk, Rosetta Cottom and her husband Bob of Meno, James Roberts, Jr. of Enid, Thomas Roberts of Sante Fe, NM, Steve Roberts and his wife Carol of Enid, Mary Ann Roberts of Tucson, AZ, Tim Roberts and his wife Kathy of Carrollton, TX, and Chuck Roberts and his wife Holly of Richardson, TX; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, one sister, Blanche Serviss of Enid; one brother, Gerald Fleshman and his wife Dianne of Lamar, CO and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Roberts in 2005, her parents; four brothers and two sisters.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Daily Bread with Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home acting as custodians of the fund.
