Nang Van Mai
January 1, 1951 - August 27, 2022

Mass of Christian Burial for Nang Van Mai, 71 of Enid, will be Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 2:00 pm in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Reverend Vic Luong and Mark Mason celebrants. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Enid under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. Recitation of the Rosary will be Tuesday evening at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

Nang was born January 1, 1951 in Kim Son Ninh Binh, Vietnam to Vu Van Mai and Liu Thi Nguyen and died on August 27, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

He grew up in Vietnam and came to the United States in 2018. Nang married Hai Thi Hoang on December 25, 1971. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. He was a farmer for many years.

Nang was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

He is survived by his wife, Hai Thi Hoang; six children, Huong Ti Mai, Hoa Storms, Thuc Van Mai, Huong Snyder, Hong Thi Mai, Hat Thi Mai; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren; brother, Luong Van Mai; sister, Lua Thi Mai; other relatives and friends.
