Alice M. Luetkemeyer
April 20, 1931 - October 17, 2009

The Mass of Christian burial for Alice M. Luetkemeyer, 78-year-old Enid resident, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. The Rev. Larry Kowalski will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. There will be a wake service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel.

She was born April 20, 1931, in Enid to Clarence and Roqua (Stout) Peters and died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. She attended St. Joseph's Catholic School and graduated in 1949. On Dec. 28, 1953, she married Lawrence "Baldy" Anton Luetkemeyer at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The couple made their home in Enid, where she worked at Larry's Amusement for several years. She also volunteered at St. Joseph's Catholic School. She was a charter member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing and all kinds of arts and crafts.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan K. Luetkemeyer of Enid and Linda M. Copeland of Edmond; three sons, Robert C. Luektemeyer of Tulsa, William J. Luetkemeyer and wife Angela of Azla, Texas, and Lawrence L. Luetkemeyer and wife Peggy of Enid; as well as three sisters, Donna Koehl, Betty Strackbein and Irene McCain, and one brother, Gerald Peters; 12 grandchildren, Brandon, Matthew, Dakota, Ginger, Markus, Shilo, Rob, Travis, Deric, Lauren, Nikolus and Kristi. Also, seven great-grandchildren, Christian, Coulton, Aleese, Christopher, Keen, Nash and Rowen. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lawrence, as well as two brothers.
