Calvary Catholic Cemetery





ENID, OK - Funeral service for Karen "Ann" Lavicky, 63, will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 23, 2014, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Brian Meyer officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation with family present will be 4-5 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Anderson-Burris.

Ann was born to Vincel and Fannie (Bullis) Cordry on Nov. 18, 1950, in Enid, Okla., and passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014.

Ann was a 1968 graduate of Hennessey High School and then graduated from Northwestern, Alva.

On May 19, 1973, she married Marty Lavicky in Hennessey.

Ann taught elementary education at Hennessey Middle School. She later was a medical transcriptionist for Bass Hospital, Enid Eye Clinic and various doctors in Enid, including her brother.

She is survived by her husband, Marty of the home; son, Jason Lavicky and wife Wei of Wilmette, Ill.; grandson, Trevor; brother, Dr. Ray Cordry Jr. and wife Marcia of Hennessey; and brother-in-law, Tom and wife Anita Lavicky of Enid; and other relatives and friends.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials are to OMRF, lupus or arthritis division.
