Stephen D. Haslett
May 16, 1947 - July 29, 2009

The memorial service for Stephen D. Haslett, 62, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, 2009, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel.

He was born May 16, 1947, in Effingham, Ill., to Revis D. and Elizabeth Shyer Haslett and died Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at his home. He was first educated in Illinois, moving to Enid with his family in 1962 and graduated from the Catholic high school in 1965. He worked in Slidell, La., and at Chase Bank in Rochelle, N.Y. He returned to Enid in the mid 1990s, where he worked as a quality assurance tech for Advance Food Co. He was a breeder of collies, a judge and showed champion collies.

Surviving are his father, Revis D. Haslett of Hot Springs Village, Ark. He was preceded in death by one sister. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Take the Lead. Condolences may be made online at www.enid wecare.com.
