Calvary Catholic Cemetery



A memorial mass for Kay Goldstein, 68 of Enid, will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Rev. Phillip Louis as celebrant. Recitation of the Rosary will be 6:00 PM, Wednesday, at the funeral home with Deacon Tony Crispo. Cremation and arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Kay was born October 20, 1949, in Enid to Melvin Leroy and Bess Evelyn (Lunday) Hutchison and passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018, in Enid.

Kay grew up in Enid, and graduated from Memorial High School in 1967. She then attended NWOSU in Alva and received her teaching degree. She married Brian Goldstein and they had 2 children. Kay taught English and Social Studies, at Enid, Pond Creek, and Waukomis Schools. In 2009 she retired from Waukomis School and moved to Altus to be nanny and grandma, and later moved back to Enid in 2012. Kay was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, and was the organist there for many years. Kays loved to read and enjoyed music.

Kay is survived by her 2 children Robbie Goldstein (Crissy) of Enid, and Jamie Hokett (Shane) of Altus; 4 grandchildren, Luke, Emily, Joshua & Jacob ; 2 brothers Brad Hutchison and James Hutchison (Sherry) all of Oklahoma City; and a sister Anne Gerszewski (Fran) of Enid; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Mark.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Our Daily Bread.
