Boy Drowns as Tractor Tips, Pins Him in Creek

ENID - A 13-year-old Enid boy helping mow a pasture on his grandfather's farm drowned Tuesday morning when a tractor overturned and pinned him in shallow water.

Dead on arrival at Enid Memorial Hospital was Bobby Gau, son or Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gau, Enid.

The grandfather, Ted Hudnall, said the boy was working on a hillside when the tractor he was riding on started to tip over. He jumped into a creek in his attempt to get away from it, but it tumbled on top of him and he was pinned in about two feet of water.
