James BRADY

Calvary Catholic Cemetery

James Brady was the son of James & Catherine (O'Keefe) Brady. He was married to Lillie McCormick. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War. They were the parents of two children: John Leo, born in 1902 and died in infancy 9/3/1902 and Frances Catherine, born 1903.

WAS FATALLY INJURED

Enid, O. T., June 3 - At a dog and badger fight at the fair grounds in this city on Decoration day, James Brady, aged 28, was struck on the head with a piece of gas pipe, from the effects of which he died last night. The skull was badly fractured and trepanning was tried, but it failed to save his life. He never regained consciousness. Emery Mulligan is under arrest and Whit Mulligan is a fugitive from justice, both being charged with murder.
