January 15, 1937 - January 11, 2022

The family of Margaret Selby invites you to celebrate her life with a visitation Sunday, Jan. 16, from 6-8, and funeral Monday, Jan. 17, at 2:00 p.m. in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery 4378-5356 E. Southgate Rd Enid, OK.

Margaret Viola Selby (Mom, Mamo or Margie to many), age 84, went to her heavenly home to be with Jesus and her beloved husband on January 11, 2022.

Margie was born January 15, 1937, to Cecil and Dora Bundy in Enid OK. Margie was born at home weighing only two pounds. She did not have the best start, but she was a determined little fighter that this world needed.

She met the love of her life and married Kenneth Selby April 23, 1955, at the age of eighteen. They made their home in Enid in 1958. She worked for St Mary's Hospital as a nurse's aide. She took great pride in her work caring for others.

They began their family in 1966 with the birth of their first daughter Maureen and then Kinta in 1971. She was a full-time homemaker while raising her family. She was then blessed with becoming Mamo to three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren whom she loved tremendously.

Many will always know Margie as Mamo or Mom, as she took care of and loved many children throughout her life. She always welcomed everyone into her home and her heart. She would make you feel at home by always telling you to sit down and offering to feed you.

All of her loved ones, family and friends will miss her. She made a huge impact on all who she knew.

If anyone would like to make a donation in lieu of flowers, her charity of choice is Hospice Circle of Love Enid, with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

Condolences and special memories may be shared with the family online at www.Brown-Cummings.com.
