Margaret Lydia (Lee) Bodley

In 1963 Margaret Lee married Lawrence J. Bodley Sr. in Rochester, New York. They shared 46 wonderful years together. The family home was a place of constant activity, raising their ten children, four girls and four boys along with a niece and nephew. They lived in Rochester, New York till 1976 and then moved to Shattuck, Oklahoma. In 1978 the family moved to Gage, Oklahoma and then moved back to Shattuck, Oklahoma in 1990. Margaret moved to Englewood, Florida and lived there the past year and a half.

Margaret stayed at home and raised the 10 children, and that kept her very busy. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts in her spare time.

Margaret received the Baton Twirling award when she was younger. She was a longtime member of the Assembly of God Church in Shattuck, Oklahoma and was currently attending the West Coast Assembly of God Church in Englewood, Florida. Margaret enjoyed going to bible study and teaching Sunday school class.

Those family members preceding Margaret in death are her parents, husband Larry J. Bodley Sr., son Michael Bodley, daughters Gail Barrett and Nancy Sager, brothers Kenneth Lee and Thomas Lee, sister Carol Draves.

Margaret is survived by children, Lora Hansen and husband Steve, Robin Giesegh and husband John, Larry Bodley and wife Traci, Kenneth Bodley and wife Keri, Roger Bodley and wife Liz; sisters, Mary Converse, Hattie Olschewske, Dolores Anthony and Arthur Lee of New York; brothers, James and Kevin of New York; niece, Cindy Hernandez and husband Tino; nephew, David Berrios and wife Tami; 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
