Mary Nadine (Dryden) Jones was born in Woodward, Oklahoma, on January 26, 1927, to Oliver & Linnie (Mast) Dryden. She passed from this life on November 15, 2015, in Drumright, Oklahoma, at the age of 88 years.

Nadine grew up on the family farm east of Vici, Oklahoma. She attended Sunnyside Grade School and graduated from Vici High School with the Class of 1945.

On February 11, 1950, Nadine Dryden and Hank Jones of Vici were united in marriage in the home of her mother, Mrs. Linnie Dryden of rural Vici. Mr. and Mrs. Jones established their home on the farm, and were blessed with the birth of twin daughters, Mary and Jeri.

Nadine was baptized as a young adult at the First Christian Church in Vici and was a member of the church as well. Nadine was currently attending the First Church of God in Cushing, Oklahoma and loved going to the church dinners.

Nadine’s hobbies and interests consisted of reading, playing cards, traveling with friends, attending the Great Western Opry and monthly music Jamborees in Custer City, Oklahoma. She loved special trips to Crystal Beach with her family and spending time with grandkids. Nadine was a member of the Homemaker Club and Senior Citizens. She always could find the good in people.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Oliver and Linnie Dryden; husband, Hank Jones; two brothers, David Dryden and Charles (Elmo) Dryden; one sister, Lorena Dryden; one foster daughter, Sheila Adams.

Nadine is survived by two daughters, Mary Watt of Cushing, Oklahoma, and Jeri White and husband Leslie of Cushing, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Jackie Dras of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Cody Tutwiler and wife Julie of Enid, Oklahoma, Mary Nicol Caulfield and husband Preston of Longmont, Colorado, Dr. Bret White and wife Dr. Tamara of Cushing, Oklahoma, and Dr. Brad White and wife Mallory of Tulsa, Oklahoma; six great-grandchildren; one niece, Maxine (Dryden) Wheelan of Midwest City, Oklahoma; one sister-in-law, Geneva Jones of Crawford, Texas; other relatives and many friends.
