Jason Lee Bethea, 36 year old resident of Vici, OK, passed from this life on May 7, 2014, as a result of a tragic car accident. Jason was born on March 5, 1978, in Camden, AR, to Cynthia Gale and Ronald Ray Caldwell. Jason attended grade school at Zanies until 1990, when he moved to Wilson, OK, where he graduated with the class of 1997.

Jason fell in love with Katherine “Renee” Slawson in 1995. In 1997, Jason and Renee got married at Wilson, OK. Three wonderful boys blessed this union: Jason Michael, Justin Dean, and Joseph Lynn. Jason was a welder in Wilson and traveled all over the state welding on water tanks before moving to Vici, OK. Jason was currently a contract welder for Key Welding.

Jason loved to play his guitar and karaoke. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and ATV’s as much as he could. Most of all Jason loved hanging out with his friends and family and having cookouts and cooking for everyone he could.

Those preceding him in death are his father Jerry Dean Bethea, Grandmother Mary Bethea, Grandfather Cecil Moss, and a cousin Jerry Vayda.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Renee and three sons Jason, Justin, and Joseph all of the home in Vici, OK; granddaughter Irene Riley; parents Ronald and Gale Caldwell of AR; sisters Jennifer Bethea of Wilson, OK and Amber Dawn Miller of Carlisle, AR; a half-sister Angela Bethea of Camden, AR; grandmother Betty Moss of Wilson, OK; grandfather Bill Bethea of Camden, AR; two aunts Dian of FL and Brenda of AR; three uncles Willie and Larry of AR. and Gene of Wilson, OK; seven nieces Gaylee, Kiya, Jacklyn, Jayci, Jayden, Sarah, and Naomi; five nephews Aidyn, Hunter, James, Lane, and Malachi; other family and a host of friends.
