Mevalene Joyce (Haggard) Witten

March 27, 1920 ~ December 23, 2009

Mevalene Witten, 89 of Midwest City, passed away on Wed. Dec. 23, 2009. She was born to Perry and Mary Haggard on March 27, 1920 in Putnam, OK.

She is survived by 3 sons: Cleveland & wife Connie, Terry & wife Sue, and Jerry & wife Sharon, and 3 daughters: Sandra Elder & husband Matt, Catherine Turnbow & husband Bill, and Debra Silsby & husband Buck, 20 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband I. J. Witten, grandson, Bryson Silsby, and granddaughter Ashli Silsby.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, 12/28/2009 at the Barnes Friederich FH Chapel with a 3:00 PM burial at Prairie Belle Cemetery in Putnam, OK.
