Larry Eugene Williams

April 27, 1942 ~ April 30, 2020

Larry Eugene Williams of Southard, Oklahoma passed away at the Fairview Hospital on April 30, 2020 at the age of 78. Larry was born April 27, 1942 in Oakwood, Oklahoma to Juanita (Cotton Marshall) and Clarence (Chuck) Williams.

Larry proudly served his country in the Army National Guard. Larry graduated from Oakwood High School in 1960. He then moved to Enid and graduated from the Enid Business School. After several years of employment with Phillips 66 in Bartlesville, Larry moved to Stillwater. In the summer of 1971, Larry opened the “Gray Fox” in Stillwater which he managed until 1984.

Larry then moved to Southard and worked at USG until he retired. Gardening was one of Larry's favorite hobbies. He enjoyed attending OSU football games with friends for many years. More recently he enjoyed watching OSU sports and Thunder games with him mom. Larry was a very good son, brother and uncle. He will be greatly missed by his family.

Larry was preceded in death by his father Clarence (Chuck) Williams and his brother Bill Williams. He is survived by his mother Juanita (Cotton) Williams, his sisters Sharron Fauchier and husband Vaughn and Regina Galfetti, nieces Gina Graham and Hannah Galfetti and partner Conner Turner and nephew Chris Galfetti, and a host of family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 4, 2020 at Oakwood Memorial Cemetery with Minister Shane Sander officiating. Service arrangements are under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, OK. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, attendance will be limited to the immediate family.

Memorials may be made to the Canton/Longdale Ambulance Service through the funeral home at P.O. Box 36, Canton, OK 73724.

Condolences may be made online at www.piercefuneralhomes.com.

There will be no viewing at the funeral home.
