Guy Allison Rhodes

April 10, 1916 ~ November 19, 1985

Oakwood – Oakwood - Guy Allison Rhodes, 69, died Tuesday, November 19, 1985. Services will be 2 PM Friday at the Oakwood auditorium with the Rev. Roger Waugh officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Memorial Cemetery under direction of the Haigler Funeral Home, Canton.

Rhodes was born April 10, 1916, in Butler. He attended school in Oakwood. He was married to Lola Taylor on January 18, 1924, in Arnett. He was a veteran of World War II.

Rhodes had lived in the Veterans Home in Clinton for the past two years.

Is survived by his wife, Canton; three sons, Bobby, Oakwood, Ray, Longdale and Marty, Canton; four daughters, Margaret (Maggie), Debbie and Dorothy Rhodes, all of Canton, and Betty Jo McAllister, Oklahoma City; a brother, Robert Ray Rhodes, Cherryville, Missouri, and 17 grandchildren.
