JOHN W. ISOM

14 Sep 1934 - 12 Jul 1970

OAKWOOD - Funeral services for John W. Isom, 35 died Sunday in the car accident, will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Oakwood School. Rev. Wesley Peterman will officiate, with burial in the Oakwood IOOF Cemetery under the direction of Hagler Funeral Home.

Moved with his family to Oakwood in 1950, and married Shirley Jo Martin, Dec. 12, 1954 in New Mexico.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley of the home; two daughters, Cathy and Vicki Isom, both of the home; one son, Johnie, of the home; his mother, Reva Isom, Oakwood, three sisters, Mrs. Barbara Scott, Eagle City, Mrs. Linda van Winkle, Oakwood, and Mrs. Parisy Stinson, Oakwood; one brother, Hormer Isom, Hazelton, Kan.; his father preceded him in death in 1960.
