Don Johnson, son of the late George E. and Donna Jo Johnson, passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 in his home. Don was born August 21, 1959 at the Okeene Hospital and lived his entire life on the family farm west of Canton.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father and mother, George and Donna Jo Johnson; and his sister, Gayle Bredel; Don is survived by his brother Jack Johnson of the home; step-mother, May Ann Johnson; brother-in-law Melvin Bredel of Kingfisher, OK; step-brother Ben Marks and wife Julie of Seiling, OK; two step-sisters, Roxanne Shea and husband Mike of Chicago, IL and Elizabeth Burghardt and husband Darrel of Hitchcock, OK; Don is also survived by one nephew, Kris Killman and wife Regan of Canton, OK; six nieces, Dani McGinn and husband Matt of Okeene, OK, Megan Cansler and husband Matthew of Seiling, OK, Morgan and Margo Marks of Seiling, OK, Kristi and Kelsi Burghardt of Hitchcock, OK; three great-nephews, Trigger and Gunner Killman and Hazen McGinn; one great-niece, Lillian Cansler; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Canton Church of Christ with Minister Norm Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in Munice Cemetery west of Canton under the direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton. Memorials may be made to In Search of the Lord's Way, P.O.
