Edith Rae (Hatter) Cole
November 2, 1945 ~ June 14, 2023

Ms. Edith Rae (Hatter) Cole, age 77, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her farmhouse, a place she called home since 1978, on Tuesday June 13, 2023 after the fight of her life with stage IV Breast Cancer.

Surviving relatives include her daughter, Mary Anne Cantwell; son, Tom Cole. Ms. Cole loved her grandchildren, Jessica Smith, Morgan Jones, and Victoria Cole; also her great-grandchild, Isobella Jones.

Mom/Grandma served in various roles at the Carney SR Citizens Center and was very happy to serve in any capacity at Perkins First Baptist Church. Full of life, laughter, and desire to serve others. Ms. Cole's life was a very memorable one.

We invite you to join us for a Celebration of Edith's life to be held on Tuesday, June 20th at First Baptist Church, 500 E. Knipe Ave, Perkins, OK., 74059, at 10AM. Following an intermission, she will be laid to rest at Mount Hope Cemetery in Dewey County, Fay, Oklahoma at 2:30PM. Monday preceding the ceremony, an open casket viewing will be available for those who wish to say goodbye personally. Monday's open viewing will be offered by Dighton-Marler Funeral Home located at 5106 N. Washington St., Stillwater, OK., 74075.
