Roy Dalton Ferguson, born December 22, 1947, in Watonga, Oklahoma, to John and Mabel Ferguson, passed away on February 15, 2025. He spent most of his life in Canton, Oklahoma, where he built a legacy of hard work, devotion, and love.
A proud Marine Corps veteran, Roy served his country with honor in Vietnam. His dedication to the Corps and his country remained steadfast throughout his life. After his military service, he worked nearly 31 years at Wheeler Brothers before retiring.
Roy was a man of deep faith, unwavering in his love for the Lord, his family, and his country. He had a passion for motorcycles, a deep appreciation for a fine single-barrel bourbon, and a love for fishing that brought him peace.
He is survived by his son, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.
Roy Dalton Ferguson will be remembered for his strength, loyalty, and the love he gave to those around him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Mound Cemetery south of Taloga, Oklahoma with Pastor Jason Vines officiating. Services are under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Canton. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association with the funeral home serving as custodian at P.O.
