Shirley L. Wheeler, 56, Lenora

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Doug; four children, Gary Horne of Guthrie, Melvin Horne of Seiling, Teresa Browne of Denver, Colo., and Sarah Plain of Taloga; one step-son, Brian Wheeler of Seattle, Wash.; 13 grandchildren, Patrick, Jessie, Samantha, Brandon, Damian, Alexandria, Katherine, Nathaniel, Justin, Douglas, Sierra, Dakota, and Thomas; two sisters and their husbands, Barbara Sue and Earl Burger of Taloga, and Sharon Kay and Scotty Rhodes of Chester; one brother, Richard Lee Hart of Boley, Oklahoma; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. April 19 in the Lenora Church of The Nazarene with Rev. Bennie Waller, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Brumfield Cemetery, Seiling. Wharton Funeral Chapel of Alva is in charge of arrangements.

Contributions may be made in Shirley's memory to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation - Cancer Division.
