A graveside service for Florence Pauline Duke Weir, 90, will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Brumfield Cemetery, Seiling. Pat Dougherty, pastor, will officiate. Arrangements are by Redinger Funeral Home Inc., Seiling.

She was born Feb. 29, 1916, near Seiling, to Robert Harrison “Harry” and Martha Jane Campbell Duke and died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006, in Chicago.

She was raised in Seiling and Woodward.

She married Wilbur Wilford Weir Feb. 5, 1935, in Bentonville, Ark.

She later moved to Chicago.

She worked as a tailor in the clothing and textile industry for many years until retiring.

Surviving are two sons, George Weir of Chicago and Ed Weir of Mineral Wells, Texas; a half-brother, Fred Lee “Jake” Fitch of McPherson, Kan.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
