Steve King
March 12, 1957 ~ August 16, 2020

Steve King, of Seiling, passed from this life on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at the age of 63 years, 5 months, and 4 days. He was born March 12, 1957 to Bob and Mary Ellen King at Ft. Stewart, Georgia. He attended schools in Greensburg, KS and Shattuck, OK before the family settled in Seiling from the 5th grade until his graduation from Seiling High School. He remained in Seiling and worked for Delhi and later ONEOK pipelines as a corrosion technician. Steve enjoyed golf, boating, fishing, and trips with his friends. He was a member of the Elm Grove Community Church, and the ìCanton Lake Pontoon Club.î

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Mary Ellen King.

He is survived by his two daughters, Cora Beth Eagan, and Amanda Jolene ìMandyî Elliott both of Seiling; sister Patricia Montrose and husband Marc of Piedmont, OK; brother Mike King and wife Gail of Seiling; four grandchildren, Nikole King, Korben Elliott, Michael Elliott, and Chase Elliott, and one great grandchild, Emma Marie; as well as many other nieces, nephews, other relative, and friends.

Funeral Services for Steve King were held on Wednesday, August 19 at the Elm Grove Community Church in Chester, OK. Burial followed at Brumfield Cemetery in Seiling, OK under the direction of Redinger Funeral Home.

Memorial Donations in Steve’s name may be made to the Brumfield Cemetery Association (Box 236, Seiling, OK 73663).
