February 23, 1933 ~ June 27, 2018

Bill R. Jackson, 85 year old long time Seiling resident, passed from this life on June 27, 2018 in Yukon, OK. Bill was born February 23, 1933 to Ray and Willie Mae (Trotter) Jackson in Sharon, OK. He attended school in Sharon and graduated with the class of 1952. In 1954, Bill joined the army serving until 1956. He obtained the rank of Private First Class and earned the Good Conduct Medal. After honorably serving in the Army, Bill attended Oklahoma State University where he earned his Bachelors and Masters in Education.

Bill married Beth Ione Burchett on April 16, 1954 in Seiling. This union was blessed with two children Lynda and Jeff. They made their home in Turpin, OK in 1958. Bill worked as a teacher and principal at the Turpin Schools until retirement. After his retirement he and Beth moved to Seiling in 2000. Bill was a member and attended the Christian Church. He also enjoyed farming when he was not teaching.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents Ray and Willie Mae Jackson, brother J.D. Jackson, and infant sister Jackson.

He is survived by his wife Beth Jackson; daughter Lynda Kepler and husband Tim of Seiling, OK; son Jeff Jackson and wife Luan-i of Choctaw, OK; three grandchildren Christian Hisaw of Woodward, OK, James Hisaw of Seiling, OK, and Faith Hisaw of Seiling, OK; two nieces J�dena Leahy and husband Dave of Woodward, OK, and Gail Bolado and husband Larry of McAllen, TX; extended family and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Bill will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the First Christian Church of Seiling. Burial will follow at Brumfield Cemetery all under the direction of Redinger Funeral Home.

Memorial Donations in Bill's name may be made to the Seiling First Christian Church c/o Redinger Funeral Home (Box 236, Seiling, OK 73663).

Beth Ione (Burchett) Jackson

June 17, 1934 - November 27, 2019

Beth Ione (Burchett) Jackson, 85-year-old long time Seiling resident, passed from this life on November 27, 2019 in Yukon, OK. Beth was born June 17, 1934 to Ray and Vera Burchett in Seiling, OK. She attended school in Seiling. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with her Master’s in Education.

Beth married Bill Jackson on April 16, 1954 in Seiling. This union was blessed with two children Lynda and Jeff. They made their home in Turpin, OK in 1958. Beth worked as an elementary teacher at the Turpin Schools until retirement. After their retirement, Beth and Bill moved to Seiling in 2000. Beth was a member and attended the Christian Church.

Beth is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Vera Burchett; and husband Bill Jackson. Beth was also preceded in death by one sister Phyllis Fenimore and brother-in-law Harry Fenimore. One brother, Steve Burchett and two sisters-in-law, Gabby Burchett and June Burchett.

Beth is survived by daughter Lynda Kepler and husband Tim of Seiling, OK; son Jeff Jackson and wife Luani of Choctaw, OK; three grandchildren Christian Hisaw of Woodward, OK, James Hisaw of Seiling, OK, and Faith Hisaw of Seiling, OK; two brothers Wendell Burchett of Boulder, Co, and Stuart Burchett and wife Carolyn of Weatherford, Ok; sister-in-law Sue Burchett-Oliver and husband Chuck of Loveland, CO; many nieces and nephews, as well as extended family and a host of friends.
