Alta Naomi (Link) Howeth

Alta Naomi (Link) Howeth, 89, of Tecumseh, OK died on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the Seminole Care and Rehab Center in Seminole, OK.

Alta was born on July 17, 1930 in Chester, OK to A. E. and Emily Link.

Alta attended Lake Side School in Chester. She worked at Sears as a custodian and later as a nurse’s aide for home health care. Alta loved to play musical instruments, fishing, and working in her flower bed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers: Leslie, Orville, Willard, and Maynard; three sisters, Roberta, Beulah, and Vada; two of her daughters, Altheia and Jeanette; and a grandson Aaron Rice.

Survivors include son Kenneth Rush and wife Donna of Bella Vista, AR, and their children Kerny, Kendall, Shasta, Christy, and Kailynn; daughter Kathy Rice and husband Mike of Tecumseh, OK and their daughter Laura Pierson, great grandchild Baily; three sisters Marie Elliott, Lois Burchett, and Belva Taylor, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Alta will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at the Restoration Church in Seiling, OK. Burial will follow at Brumfield Cemetery
