ENID — The funeral for Ruth Hanson, 80, will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at Redinger Chapel, Seiling, with interment in Brumfield Cemetery.

She was born July 22, 1930, and died Friday, Dec. 24, 2010.

She married Floyd Hanson in 1949 and he preceded her in death in 1999.

She worked as a nurse aide and homemaker.

Surviving are daughters, Cheryl Gambrel, Clara Voss, Mary Nowlin and Sandy Thacker; sons, Martin, Ronnie and Tony Hanson; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Karen Archer; and one brother Eldon Knowles.
