DORA EDSEL

25 July 1887 - 25 July 1982

Seiling – Dora Edsel, 95, died on her birthday Sunday in an El Reno hospital after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 PM Saturday in Redinger Funeral Home Chapel at Seiling with the Rev. Fred Hambrick officiating. Burial will be in Brumfield Cemetery.

Mrs. Edsel was born July 25, 1887, in Larned, Kansas. She and Alphe Edsel were married June 22, 1903, at Woodward. The couple made their home in the Seiling area for many years. After his death, she moved to Aztec, New Mexico, where she was a member of the Aztec United Methodist Church and the Methodist Golden Age of Aztec.

Survivors include three daughters, Margaret Fitch, El Reno, Clara Harrison, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Norma Jean Henderson, Augusta, Georgia; two sons, Houston Edsel, Canton, and Ray Edsel, Dallas, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 18 great – grandchildren; and four great – great – grandchildren.
