Lance E. “Skip” Boucher, 72, passed away on June 15, 2019 in Woodward, OK

Skip was born on February 25, 1947 in Watonga, Oklahoma to Darrell and Thora Boucher, He graduated from Oakwood High School in 1965 and went on to attend classes at OSU.

On February 17, 1967, Skip married Patricia Darbro and to that union he had two children, Travis and Angela.

Skip completed his college education at SWOSU, receiving his B.S. in Industrial Technology in 1972. Skip served in the Army from March of 1971 to August of 1971, receiving a medical discharge. Skip worked from 1969 to 1973 at the US Gypsum plant in Southard, OK. Then in 1973, Skip began his career working with Schlumberger, working there until his retirement in 1998.

Skip married Karen (Gift) Boucher on January 30. 1989. Skip resided in Piedmont, OK with Karen until a few months after her passing, then moved to Seiling, OK and later Grace Living Center in Woodward due to his progressive multiple sclerosis.

Skip received his peace thru salvation on June 14, 2019.

He is survived by his children, Travis Boucher, and Angela Adams and husband Shawn; Brothers Darrell Boucher and Roger Boucher and their wives and families; Grandchildren Gage Marlatt and wife Sierra and their daughter Lakyn; Grandsons Braxton Bruce and Brandon Boucher; Step Mother Evelyn Boucher; and step children Kristi Hunter and husband Warren and family, and Matthew Day and wife Christina and family.

Private Services will be held for family and close friends at the First United Methodist Church of Fargo, OK. Burial will be at Brumfield Cemetery in Seiling, OK.
