Cecil Soldier, age 75, died on Saturday October 22, 2011 at Integris Grove General in Grove, Oklahoma.

Cecil was born on September 15, 1936 in Eucha, Oklahoma. He was the son of Whitaker and Maggie (O’Field) Soldier. Cecil was a lifetime resident of the area. He was a member of the Brush Creek Baptist Church; he enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. Cecil worked as a Funeral Assistant for Lawson’s Funeral Home.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Jay, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 28, 2011 at Round Springs Cemetery in Eucha, Oklahoma with Reverend Richard Soldier officiating.

Friends and family may leave online condolences by viewing Cecil’s obituary at www.honoringmemories.com. Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Oklahoma.
