Adeline Buzzard, age 69, died on Saturday July 23, 2011 at her residence in Jay, Oklahoma. Adeline was the daughter of Willie and Mary (Cummings) Stover; she was born on May 12, 1942. Adeline graduated from Oak Mission School. She was united in marriage to Grover Buzzard on December 16, 1977 in Miami, Oklahoma.

Adeline liked crafting, cooking, going to church, spending time with Grover, gardening and enjoyed helping others especially through her work at Cherokee Nation in the WIC office. She was a member of the Steeley Baptist Church.

Adeline was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Jessie Mae McCarter, two brothers Billy Frank Stover and William Stover, also by one son Terry Cornshucker.

Adeline is survived by her husband Grover, her children Derick Buzzard (Casey), Rodney Buzzard (Alisha), Vicki Littledave (Marcus), Lila Cornshucker (Fred Miller), Kaylen Buzzard, four grandchildren Billy Jack Clinkenbeard, Leigha Black (Jeremy), Sara Littledave and Shane Littledave and two great-grandchildren Mason Clinkenbeard and Logan Black. She is also survived by one brother Claude Stover.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Jay, with Reverend Richard Soldier officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Marcus Littledave, Harvey Creekkiller, Donnie Dry, Tom O'Field, Gary Clinkenbeard and Ray Jones. Adeline will be laid to rest at the Round Springs Cemetery.
