Isaac Beaver, Jr.

Funeral Services for Isaac Beaver Jr. were held Monday, November 26, 2012 at 10 a.m. in the Shipman's Funeral Chapel with Reverend Johnny Wayne Summerfield officiating. Interment followed in the Round Springs Cemetery with Military Honors given. Services were under the direction of Shipman's Funeral & Cremation Service.

Isaac was born on December 15, 1928 in Jay, Oklahoma, the son of Isaac Beaver and Ollie (Summerfield) Beaver and passed away in Dallas on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the age of 83. He was living in Dallas, Texas, but was formerly of Jay, Oklahoma.

He faithfully served his Country in the United States Army. He moved from Oklahoma to Texas in 1963 and in 1966 he went to work for Texas Instruments as a wave guide saw operator. He retired in 1989. He and LaNelle Skipworth were married on December 11, 1983 in Mesquite, Texas.

Isaac was of Cherokee ancestry and fluently spoke, read and wrote in the Cherokee language. He was also a teacher of his native language. He enjoyed reading his Bible, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Isaac loved his Lord and his family, leaving many wonderful memories for all to cherish. He also enjoyed his bird Jasper.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Isaac and Ollie Beaver; one sister, Ruby Brumbaugh and one brother, Richard O'Field.

Survivors include his wife, LaNelle of the home; his son, Joseph and wife, Stephanie Beaver of Euless, TX; his daughters, Susan Arneecher and Richard Hedgpath of Jay, OK, Tammy Laureano of Euless, TX and Pamala Beaver of Euless, TX; six grandchildren, Wauniece Laveano, Jacquie Beaver, Jonathan Beaver, Milea Hedgpath, Cody Casto and Christopher McKee; one great granddaughter, Amanda Wright; many other relatives and friends.

Casket bearers were Kenneth Silversmith, Craig Silversmith, Brent Silversmith, Jim Summerfield, Jess Summerfield and Bennie Summerfield.
